This project involves the demolition and site clearance of an existing garage site, including asbestos removal, and then the construction of 2Nr 6-person 4-bed houses with associated drainage works, parking, new adoptable crossovers, service strips, lighting, footpaths, sewers, etc.
The building site is restricted and bounded on three sides by existing residential properties. Access must be maintained to neighbouring properties at all times.
The site will be registered with the Considerate Constructors scheme, and the houses will be built to Secured by Design standards and also to Code for Sustainable Homes level three, which ensures a high level of energy efficiency (http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/code_for_sust_homes.pdf).
