Based just outside Dungannon, Northern Ireland, GEDA has built over twenty years experience as a main contractor of construction projects in Northern and Southern Ireland. The firm was first developed as a civil engineering construction company, specialising in the water industry, such as reservoirs, water treatment works, pumping stations, sewage works, pipelines etc. The company then further broadened its scope to contracts for DoE Road Service, mainly in the structural field, including bridges, retaining walls and culverts, together with ancillary roadworks. GEDA has since established a strong building division which has carried out several successful housing developments, from housing for the first time buyer to luxury houses and apartments at the prestigious end of the market as well as commercial developments such as warehouses, schools and offices. As well as a focus on providing exceptional schemes with quality design and usability, GEDA are leaders in environmental practice. In 2007 we were awarded the Business in the Community National Example of Excellence ‘Highly Commended’ award for Eco-efficiency against multi-national competition. With a CEF Construction Excellence Award in the Environmental category in 2006 and the Belfast Telegraph Property Awards ‘Residential Developer of the Year’ accolade for 2006/07, GEDA have produced a winning formula.
